About Ian
My name is Ian Evans and I’ve been tattooing for eight years. I enjoy working with a variety of subject matter, although I tend to gravitate to neo traditional and new school illustrative styles when left to my own devices. Readable, high contrast, bright, bold designs are my favorite.
I began drawing at a very young age, and from then on I couldn’t see myself doing anything other than creating. Tattooing was never my first thought of a career, but after receiving my first one at eighteen I was incredibly intrigued by the process. At that point I wanted to learn as much as possible and decided to pursue tattooing. Reflecting on the last several years it’s safe to say that it’s been a challenging, yet rewarding path. My goal is to bring others’ ideas into reality, making it a positive experience that will leave a lasting influence. I try to focus on constantly learning and growing as an artist by giving every client my best.
How Do I book an appointment to get tattooed?
Consultation/booking
Pick a time that works for you and book an appointment for a consultation in person or virtually with video chat. Have any artwork with your or emailed ahead of time, for inspiration. Though I do prefer working more from ideas/ concepts because it allows for more interpretations.
Finalize design
Ian will go over a rough idea(s) for the design and ask any clarifying questions before starting on the final sketch for the design. Please make sure to ask ANY questions or voice any concerns at this point. If any major alterations need to be made the day of the appointment, we will reschedule and additional reschedule fee may be required.
Get Inked
You’ve finalized your design and the time has come to be tattooed! Make sure you’re wearing comfortable clothes and have a charger, water and maybe some snacks. Some appointments can take a little while so come prepared.
Designs focused on you
When creating a composition for a client I do everything I can to make it custom and as unique as possible each time. I also try to consider how it is worn on the body as well as other surrounding work to make everything flow together cohesively and be flattering for the wearer.
